Engaging, Educating, and Electing Democrats

The Lamorinda Democratic Club (LDC) is dedicated to engaging, educating, and electing Democrats.  Founded in the 1950s, we are one of California’s oldest and most dynamic Democratic clubs, as well as one of the largest in the state, with a roster of associates in excess of 700 and a paid membership approaching 250.  Lamorinda Democratic Club members are active volunteers, precinct organizers, elected representatives, and dedicated citizens.  We contribute time, energy, and enthusiasm to support Democratic candidates, ballot campaigns, “building the bench,” and building community.  We live in neighborhoods throughout Contra Costa County, including Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, and Martinez.  We are a chartered member of the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County.

LDC Coffee Club Thursday Mornings

Please join LDC Members and friends for casual conversations about local, state, and national politics and news of the day at the LDC Coffee Club!
Lead by LDC Membership Director, Mike Rusk or other LDC Board members, the Coffee Club provides an opportunity to get to know other Club members and trade political commentary and ideas. Currently the Coffee Club meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. either in-person at a local coffee spot and or virtual meetings on Zoom.
